I have the PyScripter Setup program to install PyScripter version 253 for the 64-bit version of PyScripter. I tried running PyScripter from the command line in its own dir with pyscripter –PYTHON35 with the same result. No intallation is needed.
What is the expected output. Python could not be properly initialized. The Python engine is not properly initialized Access violation at address 00983D5D in module PyScripterexe. The 64-bit version of PyScripter x64 works only on 64-bit Windows and with 64-bit versions of Python. Aaron Rodgers named NFLs MVP for the 3rd time. The 32-bit version x86 of PyScripter works on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows with 32-bit versions of Python.
I rebooted and checked both GUI and command line both failed with the same error.
The 64-bit version of PyScripter x64 works only on 64-bit Windows and with 64-bit versions of Python. No intallation is needed. My PC is running the 32-bit version of Windows XP. - To use PyScripter with a specific python version either use the provided shortcut with the full installation or the command-line option –PYTHONxx eg. You may want to try the zip registry free installation if you do not have admin rights. Access violation at address 0000000000983D5D in module PyScripterexe.
